This case involved a complete strip down, removing the wooden bands, all the fittings and handles. It's worth noting that I do not replace any original trunk fittings, on any case, unless absolutely necessary. So you can expect to see dinks and minor damage on anything that has been left in its original state. 

The wooden bands were sanded and revarnished, all of the metal fixtures were then cleaned and repainted, before everything was fitted back together. Unfortunately the original handles were not salvageable, so new metal ones were used, still in keeping with the style. 

The outer side of the case has been elegantly finished in a stunning dark and light teal paper, featuring a delicate pink pattern, decorated with a floral, leaves, and bird design. The seat and back cushion are covered in a fabulous dark teal velvet fabric, the back has then been completed with six diamante buttons for that little touch of glamour.

Material used:
This item contains a barrier fabric that is a Schedule 3 interliner and ignition source 5 (crib 5) standards of the Furniture and Furnishings 1988 (Fire Safety) Regulations for domestic and commercial use.

The foams used have been tested by our supplier(s) to ensure compliance with the relevant Furniture & Furnishings Regs 1988 (Fire Safety) Schedule 1,Pt 1. Covers are not match resistant.

Interested in buying?
It's very important to consider where you will have this chair before you considering buying, as it may not be suitable in a heavy traffic area. For instance, where children or pets could easily damaged the outer case paper. One of our other chairs may be a better fit if this is the case.
