Elegant Steamer - RJ
The case was originally a deep brown, featuring the former owner's initials and an old travel ticket. We decided to retain these old characteristics, as well as the broken carry handle to keep some of the originality.

While the body of the case was repainted in a fabulous racing green, the metal fittings were sanded and given a bronze finish. The wooden bands were also sanded and coated in smooth silk varnish to maintain their stunning appearance. To complete the look, the seat cushion and back were covered in a striking velvet fabric with a vibrant jungle design.

Material used:
This item contains a barrier fabric that is a Schedule 3 interliner and ignition source 5 (crib 5) standards of the Furniture and Furnishings 1988 (Fire Safety) Regulations for domestic and commercial use.

The foams used have been tested by our supplier(s) to ensure compliance with the relevant Furniture & Furnishings Regs 1988 (Fire Safety) Schedule 1,Pt 1. Covers are not match resistant.
